Smelling Smelly Smells
One thing I had been warned about was that pregnancy causes your sense of smell to become very sensitive. I hadn't noticed this too much...until yesterday.
I had forgotten to take my prenatal vitamin in the morning, so when I got home, I put one in my pocket before rushing over to Kristen's house for an evening of scrapbooking (no actual scrapbooking happened, by the way. How can it when there's an adorable baby girl to distract you?).
In the car, I noticed that the smell of the vitamin in my pocket was unbearable. These are smelly vitamins, but still,
one pill? In my pocket? I had to roll down the window, and I was hoping I wouldn't hit too many lights.
Other developments: Can't stand things touching my neck, my badge for work bouncing against my stomach as I walk makes me nauseous, aversions to many vegetables (especially broccoli) and Chinese food. Also, I don't have morning sickness, just afternoon and evening sickness.
Note: I don't mean to sound whiny, because of course I'm very happy that I'm pregnant. It's just kind of interesting to observe what's happening to me.
