Maternity clothes
A coworker, whose youngest child is 4, offered to bring me some of her old maternity clothes, which is much appreciated, since everything helps when your wardrobe has been reduced to 1/16 of what it was before.
I've bought some clothes so far, so I've seen what is available, and other friends who have had babies recently have given me some of their hand-me-downs. These have all been great.
So anyway, I came in this morning and found a huge bag of clothes on my desk. Oh.My.God. I did not realize how much better maternity clothes have gotten. Most of the stuff in the bag was leggings and HUGE tent-like T-shirts. There were also some frilly dresses. All of the pants have these giant panels.
Now I feel bad, because I don't want to give her back all of the clothes, but I really don't see myself wearing many of those.
I guess if I was her, I would prefer that someone just gave me back the stuff they didn't want, so that's what I'll do.
I'm so glad clothes have improved, though. I'd hate to be stuck wearing tents for 9 months!
